Summary

SUMMARY: The AHD Nursing Timekeeper is responsible for the administration of the time and attendance system (Kronos) for Alameda Hospital‘s Nursing division and for timely and accurate recordkeeping, reporting and all timekeeping-related functions. The AHD Nursing Timekeeper will act as a resource for employees with regard to timekeeping issues and will also recommend process changes as needed, in conjunction with the Payroll Department. Performs related duties as required.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: NOTE:The following are the duties performed by employees in this classification, however, employees may perform other related duties at an equivalent level. Not all duties listed are necessarily performed by each individual in the classification.

1. Collaborate and interface with Payroll counterparts and Nursing managers.

2. Identify and participate in process improvement projects, including assisting with various system implementation and upgrades as needed.

3. In charge of Alameda Hospital nursing department timekeeping; Kronos Administration and review time cards on a daily basis for completeness and accuracy; contact various department supervisors for any missed times.

4. Maintain updated documentation for all timekeeping related processing; maintain complete and accurate timekeeping files, as needed.

5. Special projects and opportunities as assigned. Provide excellent customer service.

6. Work with payroll department in matters relating to the time and attendance system and timekeeping.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education:High School Diploma, G.E.D. or Associate's degree (A.A) from two-year college or technical school. Minimum Experience:Two - three years related experience, to includeprior payroll and/or Kronos experience required.
