    Job Overview:

    The primary function of the Material Handler is to load and unload bulk fuels/oils, completing assigned paperwork. Compliance with all DOT, Company and Safety Policies, procedures and practices shall be adhered to at all times.  The successful candidate is proactive, detail oriented, and dependable. Full time – Hourly position.  Monday - Friday and occasional weekends

    Essential Job Functions:

  • Forklift operation and able to drive trucks for staging in the yard.  

  • Loading & unloading versus types of trucks and equipment.

  • Verify the accuracy of quantity and quality of incoming deliveries.

  • Keep all material handling equipment in the best condition by conducting regular maintenance.

  • Collaborate with internal departments to locate missing packages, fix incorrect deliveries and replace damaged products.

  • Fill orders and issue materials and supplies per requests, document transactions.

  • Consolidate and rotate inventory and help with daily, weekly and monthly inventories.

  • Regular and reliable attendance and presence at work

  • Able to lift 60 pounds of necessary equipment; Able to push and pull 75 pounds.

  • Ability to handle exposure to dust, fumes and high noise levels.

  • Operate in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.

  • Any duties as may be assigned.

  • Maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions; check for correct vehicle/special loading equipment is properly positioned.

  • Follows company quality, safety and environmental guidelines as well as employee handbook policies.

  • Good interpersonal skills

  • Able to handle high stress situations.

    Qualifications / Experience / Education:

  • High school graduate or equivalent; data entry, math and computer skills

  • 2+ years of manufacturing or warehouse experience and knowledge of operating warehouse machinery

  • Knowledge of computerized or automated system operations

  • Knowledge of shipping/receiving and inventory standards and practices

  • 2+ years of forklift operation

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Effective leadership and team management skills as well as time management and organizational skills

  • ISO process understanding

  • Pass pre-employment drug screen and 7-year background check
