Description Robert Half is looking for a talented and success driven Desktop Support Technician to join our growing IT team! In this role, you'll be the first line of defense for our employees' technological woes, providing prompt and effective technical support for desktops, laptops, peripherals, and a variety of software applications. You'll troubleshoot issues, diagnose problems, and implement solutions to keep our workforce productive and connected.

Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of hardware and software issues reported by end-users, both in-person and remotely. Provide technical support via phone, email, and ticketing system. Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other peripheral devices. Update and maintain operating systems and software applications on user workstations. Perform data backups and recoveries as needed. Document technical issues and resolutions for future reference. Assist with onboarding new employees by setting up their workstations and essential software. Maintain an inventory of hardware and software assets. Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and industry best practices. Provide clear and concise technical explanations to users with varying levels of technical expertise. Requirements Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred). A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a technical support role. Strong understanding of Windows operating systems (e.g., Windows 10, 11). Working knowledge of common productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite). Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to user satisfaction. Proficiency in troubleshooting methodologies. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
