We are looking forhighly motivated credit strategists for our Asia credit strategy team. The individual will work closely with Asia credit strategy team in Hong Kong to help expand our analytics toolkit, analyze data sets to identify trends and patterns for our Asia credit strategy research publication.

We offerhigh impact projects with peers in across locations (Hong Kong/US) and across asset classes (Equity/FX/Rates). Your contributions will be visible, and you will have the opportunity to gain insight into the fascinating fixed income world, coauthor and publish research reports, and interact with Morgan Stanley clients.

Asia Credit Strategy:

The candidate will support modeling, and data analytic functions within Asia credit strategy for the Asia Fixed Income Research team. The Associate will be a part of a growing Research Strats team in Mumbai, will work closely with our Asia credit strategists based in Hong Kong and focus on building and maintaining analytical models for Research publications and contribute with investment ideas for research reports.

Skills set required:

• Knowledge of credit markets (Asia credit will be a plus) and fixed income markets such as Treasury market is a plus.
• Able to analyze credit fundamentals and credit ratings of Asia corporates.
• Need to create, maintain and clean fundamental, technical, valuation of Asia credit related databases in excel.
• Respond to bespoke data analysis requests from clients and internal stake holders.

Education and Experience:

• Degree or higher in a finance or accounting
• 1-4 years of Financial/ Industry experience in credit products.
• Strong proficiency in using excel to build databases and have experience using Bloomberg API will be a plus.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Agenuine interest and understanding of financial markets.
• Candidates should be analytical, insightful, quick learners, team players, multi-taskers, with a positive attitude.
