You will assist higher graded specialists in the performance of mishap investigations involving injury to personnel or damage to government. You will create documents, reports, or correspondence is in proper format, grammatically correct, and completed. You will use the Enterprise Safety Management Applications System (ESAMS) or similar system to track or resolve training or medical evaluations for non-compliant personnel. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Implementing safety and health standards, practices, policies and theories relevant to an organization's occupational safety and health program; 2) Applying basic standards, criteria and instructions to identify safety hazards and/or concerns; and 3) Preparing annual Civilian Occupational Injuries and Illnesses reports for submission to chain of command. Examples of qualifying specialized experience include: biological technician, medical technician, engineering technician, fire prevention inspector, and environmental health worker.
