POSITION: 3RD SHIFT ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST YIELDS SPECILIST

DEPARTMENT: Accounting

LOCATION: Ottumwa, Iowa

SALARY CLASS : Salaried Non Exempt 3 rd Shift

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to communicate fluently in English, both written and verbally.

• Excellent computer skills required, including Excel.

• High School degree or equivalent required.

• Attention to details & accuracy a must

• Excellent conflict resolution skills

• Computer knowledge required

• Self-starter who works independently with minimal supervision

• Ability to work overtime as needed

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Yield prep

• Auditing inventory tickets

• Data entry into AS400 for yield reporting

• Auditing livestock tickets and confirming arrival amounts

• Send carcasses

• Cross-train on roles within the accounting department

• Meet departmental deadlines as required

• Complete special projects as needed or requested

• Full-time, Saturday work as required
