Title: Part-time, Evening STNA Instructor Classification: Workforce Education Reports to: Director of Adult Education Contract: Limited Part Time BEGINNING DATE: Fall 2024 APPLICATION DEADLINE: Until Filled Job Objective: The evening STNA Instructor plans, implements and assesses adult student learning experiences. Instructor teaches hands-on STNA skills for a minimum 38 hours per session; total class 79 hrs. Looking for a Medical Assistant/LPN to teach half the class and RN the other half or an RN to teach the entire class. Synopsis: The STNA Instructor is responsible for: • Creating and maintaining relationships with students and co-workers. • Being motivated, self-directed. • Demonstrating excellent oral and written communication skills. • Organizing and prioritizing work flow. • Delivering an effective lesson on the level of an STNA student.
