Element Materials Technology Quality Assurance Technician in Santa Fe Springs, California

Overview

Element is current hiring a Quality Assurance Technician to join our growing team in Santa Fe Springs, CA. The Quality Assurance Technician at Element leads complex, multifaceted programs that support cGMP analysis to meet client needs. This position directly supports the various Quality Control departments by verifying instruments and equipment are performing within their tolerance. This position works semi-independently, reporting directly to the Quality Assurance Manager.

The pay range for this position is set between $23.00hr-$27.00hr, but is subject to change based on candidate's relevant individual experience.

Responsibilities

  • Is able to provide operational support for GMP instruments and equipment

  • Follows all safety requirements including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment

  • Follows all Element’s safety practices and standard operating procedures

  • Prepares reports with a high degree of first pass acceptance

  • Communicates effectively with Non-conformance and Out of Tolerance Investigations

  • Capable of working semi-independently based on described timelines

  • Is focused on delivering projects in a timely manner with minimal errors

  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Skills / Qualifications

  • B.S. Degree in Sciences related discipline or H.S Diploma with 2+ years of experience in a related position

  • Knowledge of analytical chemistry instrumentation techniques demonstrated through academic performance

  • 2+ years’ metrology experience in a cGMP facility preferred
