The Job:

The Farm & Hardware business is currently looking for a Sales Manager to lead the NW, SW, Great Lakes sales team and assist in strategies to increase HTAS revenue and market share. You will partner with Sales, Channel Marketing, Product Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, and Operations to execute the HTAS Specialist strategy.

  • Responsible for leading the 6 HTAS Specialists located in the Northwest & Southwest regions.

  • This position involves approximately 50% travel to 6 markets and any regional or national shows.

  • Assist in leading a world class sales team that effectively manages customer relationships, creates annual strategic programs, and develops customer solutions.

  • Assist in the development of the strategic sales plan while driving the overall sales number to exceed goals and gain market share.

  • Work cross-functionally with Channel & Product marketing, Operations, Finance and Brand Marketing to drive key priorities through clear and consistent communication.

  • Work closely with human resources in identifying and implementing programs and activities that drive performance, development, and retention of the team.

  • Develop extensive knowledge of our products and represent the organization with senior level leaders and various segment groups.

  • Progressive sales leadership experience inside a large, global, matrixed organization.

  • Analytical and organizational skills that allow you to manage, understand, and communicate to senior management while also being able to clearly articulate the business to the field organization.

  • Strategic thinker that can focus and prioritize the key actions and tasks for the organization.

  • Ability to listen and build strategic relationships both externally and internally to drive key initiatives forward.

  • Strong communicator capable of presenting ideas, selling new concepts or tactics and willing to listen to contrary opinions to drive a strategic execution

  • Minimum 5 years of sales and territory management experience

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) and experience
