The Hershey Company Senior Safety & Environmental Technician Lead in United States

Responsibilities: * Assist Safety, Health & Environmental Manager to collect, analyze and maintain statistics on accidents, occupational poisonings, and diseases, which occurred at the plant. * Planning & assist in performing annual Industrial hygiene monitoring to comply with local environmental standards & regulations. * Assist in managing emergency response team and its facilities in accordance with the regulations. * Conduct workplace inspection and able to work with respective area owners to come out with solution to solve the unsafe act or unsafe conditions observed. * Conduct incident investigation and generate incident report with minimal guidance. * Assist in managing the safety and health committee and ensure the committee is active. * Assist in any safety & environmental programs and its execution. * Requirements:* * Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health or equivalent approved by minister. * Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational/Industrial Safety, safety-related field or equivalent work experience related to safety, industrial hygiene, health. Green book holder is advantage * Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment related to people safety, health and environment. Preferably in food, pharmaceutical or FMCG industries. * Detailed knowledge of DOSH regulations and applicable industry environmental, occupational health and safety standards. * Possess knowledges on confined space activity, identified & control the hazards. * Advanced proficiency in computer programs and software such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point * Knowledge of manufacturing practices and processes.
