ESSENTIALS FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB: Liaison to editorial, art, and teams. Design and layout of all aspects of print and digital magazines including creating features, editorial pages, sections, and departments. Creating custom client ads and newsletters, house ads and marketing materials for both print and digital platforms. Photo Adjustment and Editing Creating and preflighting PDFX1a files Maintaining an organized file structure MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Associates Degree in Design, Fine Arts, or related experience 2 years experience A good eye for design and typography Ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects and titles simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat) Knowledge of Macintosh OSX Knowledge of PitStop Pro Ability to handle all phases of magazine layout and production Ability to solve problems creatively. Strong ability to focus on accuracy, attention-to-detail, and timeliness. Good people and project management skills. Excellent communication skills. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to be flexible and adaptable to change WORKING CONDITIONS: * Ability to work for long periods at a computer/desk. * Standard office environment (hybrid) SALARY: $55,000
